Sacramento Senior Portraits
In the world of senior portraits, you tend to work in the same areas (locations) often so it’s exciting to be presented with the opportunity to try something new. When I sat down with Mariah and her mom, Nancy for their portrait consultation Mariah was full of “new”, which was awesome! She wanted to incorporate her love of reading and books into the session while also doing something outdoors that was unique and different, something out-of-town.
We decided on Sacramento and the wonderful J Crawford’s Books to start the session. J Crawford’s is a lovely bookstore with the absolutely nicest owners and staff around. They were not only willing to let us create some images in their store but were thrilled to have us. Thank you very much to Sue and Greg for being so nice. Your store really made the session special.
We next headed to nearby William Land park and the WPA Rock Garden for the outdoor portion of Mariah’s Sacramento senior portraits. The park and garden provided a wonderful background for the session and a fairly popular spot in the Sacramento area. We had a great session, the lighting was perfect and even Mariah’s dog Chester showed his modeling skills. It was fun. Congratulations, Mariah on your upcoming graduation and good luck with all the future has in store for you.
