Modesto Wedding Photographer
Being a wedding photographer allows me to see a lot of happy couples enjoying the what may be the happiest day of their lives. With Ricardo and Zoraida however I have the feeling that their wedding was only the start of what will be a life long love story. Zoraida and Ricardo were married in front of their friends and family in a beautiful church ceremony at St. Stanislaus before enjoying their reception at The Century, a wonderful venue in Modesto, CA. It was a perfect day made all the more so by the tremendous outpouring of love by friends and family for the couple and it’s easy to see why. Zoraida and Ricardo are a wonderful couple filled with smiles and tenderness for each other and I’m honored to have had the opportunity to capture the memories of their wedding day.

Turlock Wedding Photographer
I had the good fortune to photograph the beautiful wedding of Arielle and Jack DeLiddo recently at the always lovely Pageo Lavender Farm in Turlock, California. The day was perfect, the bride was stunning, the groom was dashing, weather wonderful, decor was spot on, food was great and everyone had a splendid time; you can’t ask for anything more that that! Arielle and Jack are such a wonderful, fun and loving couple and after spending the day with their friends and family it’s easy to see where they get it from. I was thrilled to share Jack and Arielle’s big day with them and create the images they’ll cherish for the rest of their lives. After the wedding the happy couple were off to the happiest place on earth. OH, Boy! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. DeLiddo!

Merced Wedding | Daisy + Jeff
Daisy and Jeff’s home church, the beautiful St. Patrick’s Church in Merced, California was the setting for their wedding ceremony, surrounded by friends and family, it was the perfect venue for their wedding day. After the ceremony we braved the heat (all part of a summer wedding) and headed to Applegate park for the wedding party formals before retreating to the nearby Elk’s Lodge for the reception. Filled with beautiful decor and the friendly laughter of loved ones Daisy and Jeff were able to celebrate with their families before heading off for the honeymoon. It was an honor having the opportunity to share in their big day and create the images that will be cherished for a lifetime. Congratulations, Daisy and Jeff!

Modesto Family Portraits
I don’t think anything quite transforms a house into a home like having portraits of your family hanging on it’s walls. Beautiful family portraits bring a smile to your face when you enter a room, it’s one of the many reasons I take so much time creating the perfect portrait for each of the family’s I have the chance to work with. Juleana and her sons, Jared, Justin and Jack came out with me to one of my favorite foothill spots for their family session a couple weeks ago. Jared came in for his senior portraits a couple weeks before and this family session was a great opportunity to create accent images of his brothers along with a main portrait for their home. The Rice’s are so great to work with, fun, easy going and photogenic (that’s always a plus)!
One storm had just moved through the area and another was on it’s way in as we prepared for the session. As luck would have it we timed things perfectly and we’re rewarded by some amazing clouds and a perfect sunset. Here are a few of the images from their session, enjoy!

Happily Ever After…Lacey + Michael Modesto Wedding Photographer
Lacey gets what she wants. Don’t believe me? Just ask her new groom Michael. Mike caught Lacey’s eye as the slightly older guy working at the lumber yard as she would walk home from school. The age difference didn’t deter Lacey however as she patiently stocked her prey and eventually won the heart of her husband-to-be. If you spend any amount of time with Lacey and Mike you quickly see how much love and respect they have for each other, the foundation of any successful marriage.
It was a pleasure getting to share in Michael and Lacey’s big day and having the opportunity to capture the smiles, laughter, hugs and tears as their two lives became one. It was also great to meet and hang out with their friends and family who were welcoming and all around wonderful to work with. Congratulations, Lacey and Mike!

Monterey Wedding Photography
It’s been amazing getting to know Stephanie and Chris since day one. I’m very lucky to have worked with so many wonderful clients over the years and these two certainly rate right up there with the best. Since they stopped by for the initial consultation they’ve been excited, friendly and a ton of fun.
Chris and Stephanie had a beautiful beach front wedding at the lovely Monterey Beach Resort in Monterey, California. The California coast, and this part of it specifically, is one of my favorite places in the world to both work and play so getting to photograph the wedding there was great. Monterey Wedding Photography…not a bad job!
Chris is a big football fan and wanted to incorporate his passion for the game into the images we created with the guys. I can’t think of a better way to do that then a little football game on the beach before the ceremony just to keep things loose. As Chris tossed a couple touchdowns, Stephanie was looking stunning as she had her hair and makeup done with her bridesmaids.
Surrounded by friends and family, their day was stunning! Filled with love and laughter it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to share in the event and create the memories of their wedding day. Congratulations, Stephanie and Chris!

Crystal Briseno – CSU Sacramento 2014 – Graduation Portraits
While I photograph a lot of graduation portraits for high school seniors, we don’t tend to do that many for college seniors, why is that? Crystal will be graduating from CSU Sacramento (my alma mater) in May and thought the occasion should be marked by getting some awesome graduation portraits made. A Good idea in my book!
I had been in nearby Knights Ferry about a week before Crystal gave me a call photographing the beautiful wildflowers (we had a stellar bloom this year) and thought a couple meadows I “discovered” would make the perfect setting for Crystal’s graduation portraits. Hillsides covered in poppies and wild lupine are always good for portraits, right?

Happily Ever After – Christine and Christian
Christine and Christian we’re married on January 4th in a beautiful ceremony at Christine’s church in Ripon, California (a beautiful place for a wedding). Christine and Christian decided to have a “first look” prior to the actual wedding ceremony and did something pretty cool to commemorate the first time they saw each other, they wrote they’re own vows and exchanged them right there in front of their family, a mini ceremony before the main event. For the formal wedding portraits we had a chance to use a family friends walnut orchard and the awesome old barn next to it. We had a wonderful time meeting all of Christine and Christian’s friends and family while creating the beautiful images of their wedding day. The happy couple is back from their Hawaiian honeymoon and jumped right back into finishing their degrees. Here’s a preview of some the images from the wedding of Christian and Christine Smith. Happily Ever After – Erica and Candido
I met Erica a couple years ago when I took her senior portraits and was thrilled to be able to create the images of her wedding day as well. Erica and Candido are a wonderful couple; you can see the joy they bring to one another when they’re together and that’s a wonderful thing. The wedding took place at the lovely Rancho Canada Country Club in beautiful Carmel Valley and while the ceremony didn’t exactly play out the way it was originally planned (a bit of weather caused a change in direction) Kim and Christina at Cordially Invited Planners did a fabulous job of rolling with the punches and creating a wonderful event. With Erica and Candido nothing could dampen the sprite of the day.
We had a blast hanging out with all of Erica and Candido’s friends and family, they’re a truly wonderful group and creating the stunning images of their day was a pleasure. Candido is back severing our country so I hope he has the opportunity to see these images too. Here’s a preview of some the images from the wedding of Erica and Candido Cruz. Enjoy!

Senior Portraits
It’s that time of year again, senior portrait season, and Matthew came by the studio for his session a few days ago. Matt came by along with his parents and girlfriend and we had a great time creating some amazing images. Matthew does some pretty cool stuff including playing water polo for Davis high and being an Eagle scout. We started the session with some indoor images at the studio before heading out for some beautiful light with the outdoor portion of the session. We were pretty lucky and had another day of awesome clouds which I tried to take full use of. Matt’s session is filled with awesome images that would make outstanding wall portraits.
