Merced Wedding | Daisy + Jeff
Daisy and Jeff’s home church, the beautiful St. Patrick’s Church in Merced, California was the setting for their wedding ceremony, surrounded by friends and family, it was the perfect venue for their wedding day. After the ceremony we braved the heat (all part of a summer wedding) and headed to Applegate park for the wedding party formals before retreating to the nearby Elk’s Lodge for the reception. Filled with beautiful decor and the friendly laughter of loved ones Daisy and Jeff were able to celebrate with their families before heading off for the honeymoon. It was an honor having the opportunity to share in their big day and create the images that will be cherished for a lifetime. Congratulations, Daisy and Jeff!

Amanda and Justin were married a few weeks ago in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Hilmar, California and I was lucky enough to be there capturing all the memories of their amazing day. Amanda and Justin are a wonderful couple and their wedding was a perfect reflection of their relationship, fun, loving and respectful. Which is also a perfect description of their friends and family. Modesto Senior Pictures
I had the pleasure of taking Julia’s senior portraits the other day. Julia is a senior at Enoch High School and will be graduating this coming June. Julia’s mom and younger sister joined her for the session and they couldn’t have been nicer to hang out with for the afternoon. Julia is a natural in front of the camera and it really shows in the images from the session. We started in the studio and ended the session at one of my favorite outdoor locations where we were greeted with an absolutely stunning sunset and with beautiful warm colors that bathed the entire area in perfect light. I’ve become known for my images from certain outdoor locations so I like to change things up occasionally in order to continue to offer something new to my clients and keep things fresh for me as well. While Julia and I were walking the area we discovered a couple new locations with beautiful background vistas and took full advantage of them. I’ll certainly be adding these to my shot list for future sessions. It was a wonderful session with Julia and we created a number of beautiful images perfect for wall portraits, here’s a few images from the day.

Alexee Curtis – Enoch High 2015 – Modesto Senior Portraits
Alexee is a senior at Enoch high right next door in Modesto and stopped by the other day for her senior portraits. Alexee is a pretty awesome young woman and loves to sew, so we of course couldn’t miss the chance to work that into her session. She brought by her sewing machine and a beautiful quilt she made to be featured in a couple images. Luckily I had a few tailor/seamstress related items laying around that worked perfectly for the picture. I really like the resulting images and some of the nice details we added if you look closely. After our indoor session we headed outside where we were treated to some absolutely beautiful, warm light that highlighted the natural beauty of our location. It was a wonderful afternoon.
