Escalon senior portraits
A few weeks ago I was out at Knights Ferry doing some incredible senior pics with Melissa Orosco (seriously, we had an awesome sunset!) and I had a chance to meet Melissa’s bestie, Alex, who came to the session for a couple “buddy” pics with Melissa. I guess I did something right because after seeing Melissa’s pictures Alex decided to come in for her senior portraits too, lucky me! Alex wanted to do something a little different so we headed to beautiful San Fransisco and an amazing session.
There’s a number of different locations I like to work at around SF when we head over there for a portrait session depending on the type of session and the personality of the client. For Alex we started at Ghirardelli Square with it’s great architecture and cool vibe before heading to some of the nearby parks and even the famous trolley station. We ended the day at one of my favorite beaches in the area with a beautiful sunset and a backdrop of the San Fransisco bay framed by the Golden Gate bridge, a wonderful way to end the session.
Alex and her family (along with Melissa!) were a lot of fun to hang out with and did a great job of hauling around all her clothes, 
. I’m looking forward to their family session soon! Hint, hint!

Escalon senior photography
Last week I had the pleasure of creating Melissa’s senior portraits. Melissa will be graduating from Escalon High in June and wanted to do something outside so we headed to Knights Ferry for a great senior portrait session. We’ve seen an abundance of warm weather this year and it was another beautiful day filled with green grass (rare in this area) and beautiful clouds. Melissa did a wonderful job, fun and very natural in front of the camera. In addition to her solo images we also did a few pics with her brother and best friend, both of whom were wonderful.
I only photograph one session a day when we go outdoors because I want to make sure we’re on location only during the absolute best light and this was the perfect example as to why. The day ended with a killer sunset lighting up the clouds with hues of red, orange, blue and purple as the light changed. It was an awesome session! Here’s a few images…enjoy!
